You show how to lean into the superpower of Now, whatever the situation is. It's helping me to embrace something that I've been grappling with for a while, what I've viewed as a deficit instead of a teacher. And Franciekelly, I am with you on all that about being kinder, doing more. We have to put down the mirror that we use to compare ourselves to anyone or anything. We are here to be. Knowing that others feel the same way is helpful indeed.

Laura, thank you. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate hearing from those who recognize where they are, what they can do. "We are to be" is a powerful statement, Laura. In that 'being,' we walk through 'now' even the most uncomfortable seasons of life. Thank you for your presence. It is a gift to me. ~ Lee Anne

You closed with "I listen closely to my heart now. Each breath, each movement, finds its rhythm there.” This is perhaps where I need to find myself, instead of the regret for not living a life where I was kinder to myself, where I didn’t accomplish enough. I’ve done so much in my life, but still somehow seek this need to do more, and do it better. This drive to DO MORE is so huge. Your words remind me, however, that acceptance is such a huge and important thing now. The days have gone to become something more. Isn’t living joyfully, sharing what we have (including our joy) and loving, enough? I think what your words remind me of are, I am enough. Thank you for this.

Francie, all my words did was provide 'permission' to say "I am enough." And, yes, living joyfully, sharing, and loving is more than enough. Humanity is in short supply of those qualities. I am so pleased the writing met you where you truly are. ~ Love you, Lee Anne

The decision to priortize function over convention is powerful. Replacing a bed with a recliner for genuine rest rather than social acceptability shows real self-knowledge. I've seen so many people stick with furniture setups that don't serve them just because they're "supposed to." The parallel between reclaiming your living space as an art studio and reclaiming your body's comfort feels deeply connected, both about honoring actual needs instead of imagined ones.

Thank you! They are both deeply connected. I'm emerging from fog into a realm where I now see with clarity. Stillness, listening deeply, and releasing "stuff" from my life has freed me from convention. Though my mail arrives where my box is, my true address is at the East Edge. I say that with respect. Other realms exist.

How thrilling!

Thanks, Lucinda! It is thrilling. I walk into a studio again! Yes, it's unconventional for most to shake-up their living space. It's what I needed to do. I have no expectations. Thank you for your comments. They're always welcome here.~ Lee Anne

My bed is in my art studio! As is my “living area” squeezed among the art supplies, tables and what nots.

You’re going to have a blast!

I am so excited, and I know I will have a blast! I already feel my energy lifting because this is 'home.' That's why you're having a blast and I will live in delight. I can't wait for my studio to fill up, as I know it will. Lucinda, this is joy, isn't it? I live in another realm here between the writing, the painting, and I actually photographed some images this week! Most are still imperfect, but I am charged. This is how I give back to the world so much in need—through my words and images. Thank you for sharing!
