This is a true experience that happened on December 15, 2025. Dealing with emotional and physical pain, and the pain of loss...all at one time. It is raw and honest. The image is an abstract painting in cool blues, grays, with a small ember.
Thank you for your courage to share this…this darkness. The Lodger. I am grateful for your choice to put the bottle back into the cabinet, and that you could hear the Lodger’s message, but not be overwhelmed by him/her, and take the breath you needed to carry on.
Thank you, Francie. My hope is that, by sharing those dark hours on December 15, someone may be helped, knowing that they are not alone, knowing that moving one muscle can create light that defeats darkness. Blessings, dear Francie ~ Lee Anne
I have been trying to change to a paid subscription, and I’ve gone to the FAQ’s and when I try what is suggested, there is on button that says upgrade to paid. If you have any ideas, please let me know know.
Oh, Francie, thank you for caring. I have not enabled “paid” subscriptions at this time. You can help by clicking the small heart (for ‘like’) at the bottom and sharing when you are able. The more ‘likes’ and ‘shares’ prompt readers to take time and read instead of just scanning. I may enable paid subscriptions sometime this year. Thank you again for your loyalty. You are special! —Lee Anne
