Hello!
Well, now. Here we are.
This publication now carries my name: Lee Anne Morgan. After many turns and experiments, I wanted clarity — for myself and for you. From here forward, you’ll find my work under its simplest and truest name.
The Art that leads the page: The Pentimento Series
Pentimento, from the Italian “to repent,” is the visible trace of earlier strokes beneath a painting’s final surface. In this series, it also reveals what lingers beneath my own work: layers of color, memory, and lived experience that still breathe through.
Each image carries its past, just as every life carries its story.
Coming in October
The Inn at the Leaf & Lantern — a place of stories and mystery, where you may hear a whisper, a paw on the stair, or find a golden feather waiting.
An Exposé — a story long in waiting, serious in tone, one I feel must be told.
I’ll share more soon.
It's all in a name. Yours is tried and true.
Do tell!
