A Candle in the Window
It is Yuletide, and Christmas festivities begin. I offer a small light for your own hearth, wherever you are.
Tradition says an angel may pass by any home where a candle burns in the window. But the flame is not only for the angel.
It is for the wanderer—the weary soul, the long traveler, the one who needs a bit of warmth to find their way again.
May a small glow meet you this Christmas.
May it steady your breath and soften your steps.
And, may it remind you that light is always carried from one heart to another.
